The new workbench is about much more than just the charts. The various panel features at the bottom of the page let you review your ChartLists, add comments for any saved chart, review your technical alerts, and even explore options data for any symbol we cover.
We recommend exploring some of these next-level features, and keep an eye out for more in the months to come as we continue to expand the capabilities of our new SharpCharts Workbench.
Our go-to chart setup that's perfect for any and every StockCharts user, from beginners to experts. Daily OHLC bars on a 1-year chart with three key Moving Averages, Volume, a Relative Strength line up top and the MACD at the bottom.
Our classic, award-winning layout with daily Candlesticks on a 1-year chart. Simple yet powerful, this style includes 50 and 200-day Simple Moving Averages, Volume, RSI and MACD.
A timeless, no-nonsense chart layout created by John Murphy, with OHLC Bars on a 1-year daily chart. Includes 50 and 200-day Simple Moving Averages, Volume, RSI and MACD.
For longer-term analysis, this 5-year weekly chart features Elder Impulse Bars. Includes the 40-week and 156-week Simple Moving Averages, price relative to the S&P 500, and Volume. Also incorporates two popular features: the Full Quote and Price Labels.
Used to enhance your focus on specific moving averages, this unique ChartStyle fades out the price bars to emphasize the intermediate-term 50-day and the long-term 200-day Moving Averages.
A colorful collection of exponential moving averags that form a flowing ribbon, helpful for determining trend by evaluating compressions, expansions and crossovers in the shape of the ribbon.
A spin on the traditional 50- and 200-day moving average durations, this chart includes four MAs that correspond to the length of 1, 2, 3, and 4 business quarters to show a rolling average price for each.
Specifically designed for use with ETFs, this style includes a mix of short, intermediate and long-term Moving Averages, Volume, price relative to the Vanguard Total Index (VTI), RSI, the Dividends indicator and our unique StockCharts Technical Ranking (SCTR) score plotted over a 1-year time period.

We'll have more to show you in this part of the new SharpCharts Workbench very soon
The Chart Settings panel is where you can add dozens of technical indicators and overlays to your charts and tweak various attributes like y-axis scale, candlestick fills, dividend adjustment, pre- and post-market data, and more.
And remember, all of these indicators, overlays and other settings can be saved as a chart template for future use. That's what we call a “ChartStyle”.
If you're looking for a great way to get up and running with SharpCharts, the “ChartStyle Library” panel has a ton to offer.
Browse the categories under the “Select Library” menu and you'll quickly find charts that serve every technical approach. Whether you're looking for specific strategies like Relative Strength or Momentum, timeframe charts for short, mid and long-term analysis, or specialized charts from our expert contributors, you'll find it here.
You can also review your own saved ChartStyles here as their own library view.
